Most of the solutions enable a com- pany to rank applicants side by side, track and schedule interviews, integrate a jobs board/career domain into their website, do pre-employment testing and assessment, and more, Medved says. Plus, some of the more advanced solutions offer the ability to do candidate background screening, manage referrals and integrate social-media recruiting on the same dashboard as a business' web- site recruiting. Here's a representative view of what can be found in Capterra's directory: • Jobvite Engage (recruiting.jobvite. com /product s / jobvite-engage): Jobvite Engage allows recruiters to use social media to tap into and collect information on "passive job candidates," or candidates who may not be looking for a job, but are of prime interest to the business. Essentially, the software collects info on prospects from all over the Internet, including candidates' Facebook, Twit- ter and LinkedIn profiles, as well as anything they've posted on blogs and personal websites. The solution then collates all this info and creates "talent profiles" on each can- didate, which can be referred to time and again. All data is stored in the same format and updated in real-time, saving beauty stores the trouble of having to visit indi- vidual social-media networks to update the social-media profiles they've already captured on potential candidates. Essentially, the package gives beauty stores the ability to maintain talent pools that are updated in real time, greatly increasing their chances of finding that "just right" recruit. Jobvite Engage also comes with a recruitment advertising tool, which enables beauty stores to create custom messages that are customized for the tone and feel of each social network. Using the tool, they can create a recruiting message on LinkedIn, for example, that would be much different from the relatively informal message they'd want to create for Facebook. • iMomentous Mobile Talent Engage- ment Platform (imomentous.com): This recruitment tool enables beauty stores to quickly create mobile career websites so they can reach out to the mobile phones of prospects. The resulting mobile websites offer candidates the convenience of applying for a business job by using his/her pro- file on Facebook or LinkedIn, and then uploading a résumé that's stored on Dropbox or Google Drive. iMomentous also took great pains to enable its mobile websites to integrate seamlessly with other recruitment pack- ages that beauty stores may already be using, including Taleo, Success Factors, PeopleSoft, Cornerstone Recruitment Group, SilkRoad and Kinexa. Plus, the service enables beauty stores to analyze candidates' use of its iMomen- tous website, so beauty stores can find what's working design-wise on the site— and what needs to be improved. • JIBE Apply App (jibe.com/products/ apps/apply-app): Similar to iMomen- tous, JIBE creates and hosts mobile recruitment sites for businesses. All JIBE mobile career sites feature large, easy-to-tap buttons and an easy signup process, which enables job applicants to apply via mobile phone. And résumés can be uploaded via Google Docs, LinkedIn or Dropbox.
