Get The Look
Step 1 : After shampooing and conditioning the hair, use a small dab of conditioning serum, such as Hot Tools'
NexGen Coconut Jo Serum to protect and condition the hair before teasing.
Step 2 : Apply a dab of volumizing styling gel—such as Kanar's Gummy Hair Gel—all over the hair.
Step 3 : Add a few spritzes of hair spray—such as Roots Therapy Sheen Spray from Xtreme
Beauty International—to add volume as it conditions.
Step 4 : Blow-dry the hair—try Turbo Power's Twin Turbo 3200 Dryer.
Step 5 : Section off a three-inch square at the forehead and secure it with a clip—such as
The Cricket Co.'s Carbon Clips. This area will not be teased.
Step 6 : Spritz the clipped section with hair spray right at the root.
Step 7 : Use a teasing brush—such as the Little Wonder Teasing Brush from Spornette
International—to tease the areas around the clipped top section. Work in small, two-inch
sections. Start a few inches away from the scalp and tease lightly towards it. Repeat a
few times.
Step 8 : Repeat Step 7 over the areas of the head where teasing is desired, spritzing
each teased section with hair spray when done.
St ep 9 : When all the teased sections are completed, unclip the top section of the hair
and smooth it over the teased sections.
St ep 10 : Finish with a light, allover spritz of hair spray. ■
