City of Hope Spirit of Life Gala, Saturday, July 28 "The City of Hope gala is one of the most important events of the year. Proceeds from the gala go to the City of Hope's cutting-edge research and treatment for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. It will be held from 5 p.m.–6 p.m. ICMAD's CITY Awards honor outstanding and innovative entrepreneurs for their achievements in the cosmetics and personal care industry. It includes a dinner and a show before the awards ceremony.
