6 September 2016 | Editor's Note BSB Hits Cosmoprof North America Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) 2016 proved to be another successful show with record-breaking numbers. The return of special areas (think: Discover Beauty and Discover Scent) plus new additions, like Discover Green and Glamour Me, solidified the strength of the exhibition in both forecasting and providing the latest trends in the beauty industry. Says Daniela Ciocan, marketing director of Cosmoprof North America, "We look forward to continuing strategic and thoughtful expansions to best service our exhibitors and attendees across the beauty industry." "It's great to see CPNA experiencing such significant growth in every measurable statistic: increased attendance, more exhibitors and a larger convention area. I was most impressed with the Discover Beauty section that featured standout beauty brands with innovative products. I also noticed a large Korean beauty trend. In fact, Landing International, an agency specifically for K beauty companies and distribu- tors, put together an exclusive gift bag in the Discover Beauty section featuring a sampling of what K beauty has to offer the marketplace. Another standout was the multicultural brands featured in the Tones of Beauty section. It was so great to connect with our readers at the show and see both familiar faces and new ones.
