Since then the compa- ny's co-founders, Bill and Courtney Glaab, have expanded their offerings to include three distinct collections, each with its own social giveback mission. Environ- mentally and ethically responsible, all products are crafted in small batches in the United States and are made from sustainable resources. Hand in Hand products are made with organic ingredi- ents, are gluten-free, vegan, biodegradable and cruelty-free. They are also 100% vegetable based, palm-free, paraben-free and petrochemical-free. The Hand Salve, which hails from the Rainforest Collection, is available in three enticing scents: Bergamot & Ginger, Moss, and Rain. They are lovingly made with shea butter, soy wax, sunflower oil, organic coconut oil and a hint of fragrance. For every item purchased, the Rainfor- est Collection saves 100 square feet of rain forest to support its mission to pre- serve the natural habitat of the world's great apes. The artwork, which embel- lishes the packaging, was painted by three rescued chimpanzees that reside at the Chimp Haven sanctuary in Louisiana. Available now, the suggested retail price on the hand salve is $16. 2 Cali Cosmetics Eric Kloper, CEO ejk@calicosmetics.com 305.931.8000 calicosmetics.com Baronessa Cali unveiled Cali Cosmetics in the United States in 1996 through the debut of an exotic Italian-inspired col- lection, which included a range of items from hair care to foot care. Today, her company continues to utilize Italian-grown ingredients such as olive oil and blood oranges, as well as nature-inspired fra- grances in its skincare line. The Tarocco Sicilian Blood Orange Hand Wash gets skin sparkling clean and leaves just a hint of fragrance. Its mois- turizing lather and scent fuse to awaken the senses. It is available in several other enticing scents, including Oliva (olive oil), E.Vulcano (Sicilian lemon) and Ibla (Sicilian honey). Available now, the suggested retail price is $28. 3 MiniOrganics Skincare Sally Simond, CEO/founder sally@miniorganics.com miniorganics.com Australia-based MiniOrganics Skincare is the creation of entrepreneur Sally Simond. Beyond being ideal for baby mas- sage and treating cradle cap, milk spots and eczema, the company's Superfine Jojoba can be used as a beauty solu- tion. The multifunctional formula can be used to moisturize nails and skin, and works as an expert eye makeup remover. It even works as a great post-shaving balm for men. The product's anti-inflam- matory and antibacterial properties also make it ideal for acne-prone teen skin.
