beautystorebusiness.com | April 2014 79 ZELO JOINS FORCES WITH SPILO WORLDWIDE Boca Cosmetics Group has announced that its Zelo Brazilian Keratin Home Smoothing System—marketed as the world's first keratin system to deliver salon results at home—is available to beauty retailers exclusively through Spilo Worldwide. The Zelo Brazilian Keratin Home Smoothing Kit is simple to use, and delivers curl control while completely eliminating frizz. The results give hair a smooth, lustrous look that lasts up to 30 washes. The system works great on all ethnicities and hair types—even chemically treated hair. "We are very excited to be working with Spilo," says Claudio Correia, Boca Cosmetics Group president. "Its reputation within the industry is second to none. We are very pleased to have Zelo being offered to beauty retailers through its network." PAMICH PROMOTED TO REVLON PROFESSIONAL DIVISION GLOBAL PRESIDENT Revlon announced Feb. 25 that Sennen Pamich is its new Revlon Professional Division global president as well as a Revlon executive vice president. Most recently, Pamich served as senior vice president, Revlon Pro Brands—U.S. and Canada. He joined The Colomer Group in January 2010 and before that held several senior management, commercial and marketing positions of increasing scope and responsibility at Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Bulgari Perfumes & Cosmetics. "Sennen brings a global vision to his new role in our Revlon Professional Division, having held senior management, sales and marketing positions in the United States, Asia and Europe," says Lorenzo Delpani, Revlon president and CEO. 2014 CITY AWARDS APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors is now accepting entries for its annual Cosmetic Innovator of The Year (CITY) Awards. ICMAD created the coveted awards 10 years ago to recognize small companies that are creating revolutionary, new skin, makeup, hair and fragrance products and put them on even ground to compete with large multinationals. Winners are featured in top trade publications— including Beauty Store Business—and can earn a spot at ICMAD's annual trunk show in prestigious beauty retailers. An entry costs $200 fee for ICMAD members, $400 for non-members. There is a $100 late fee for entries after April 15, 2014. For more information, call 800.334.2623 or visit icmad.org.
