store owner who feels that online
stores hurt their business?
I believe there can be a synergy between
the two. Consumers will shop where
they want to shop, when and how they
want to shop. I would like the brands to
shut down diversion and support brickand-mortar and online stores that do it
the right way and sell authorized goods
following MAP pricing guidelines. We're
also working with AuthorizedRetailer.org
to let consumers know the importance of
purchasing diversion-free products.

What lessons have you
learned since joining the
DermStore team?
Investing and maintaining relationships
is always better than trying to build new
ones. It's important to focus on relationships with customers and vendors and
continue to innovate. I always encourage
employees to use innovation in what they
do, whether it's selling products, designing
the site or talking to customers. ■
