And this year was no different with Western Buying Conference being one of the first shows to present itself with beauty merchandise in tow. The West Coast manufacturers' rep show for beauty retailers, professional-beauty distributors and suppliers took place in Las Vegas with excellent attendance: 394 distributorships registered with overall distributor attendance at 768. The show was sold out with 204 booths. Offering a myriad of new and known products to attendees, it also provided a good dose of optimism to kick off the new year. Next year's WBC is Jan. 16-17 back at Bally's Hotel & Convention Center.
