News Robanda International has acquired Dissolve, a line of all-purpose cleaning products specifically formulated for the salon market. The line launched in 2004 and consists of three products designed to clean salons from top to bottom, leaving behind a fruity-floral scent. Featured in the line are Concentrate for heavy-duty cleaning and stubborn stains; Ready-To-Use for everyday cleanup on mirrors, countertops and styling tools; and Floor Concentrate for use on floors of all types and cabinetry/shelving. The line currently is offered at Sally Beauty Supply nationwide, as well as at leading salons and spas. TSG NAMES JACK, RUTLEDGE MANAGING DIRECTORS, PARTNERS TSG Consumer Partners has promoted Blythe Jack and Robyn Lawrie Rutledge to managing directors and partners. Both previously served as principals in the firm, which is a strategic equity investor in highgrowth consumer brands. Rutledge has led recent TSG investments in the health and wellness sectors and has actively partnered with portfolio companies to drive growth. She previously was associated with Thoma Cressey Equity Partners, where she dealt chiefly in consumer products and marketing services, and was an investment banker in the mergers and strategic advisory group at Goldman Sachs. DRYBAR LAUNCHES PRODUCTS IN SEPHORA, QVC, DRYBAR SITES Drybar, the blowout-only concept salon currently with 25 locations, has launched its first-ever products for exclusive sale at Sephora, QVC and Drybar locations nationwide. The line—also available at http://shop.thedrybar.com—was developed by Drybar founder and longtime professional stylist Alli Webb. "After trying nearly every existing product line," says Webb, "I just couldn't find what we were looking for to meet our very specific styling needs." Webb spent several years developing the blowoutspecific line of styling products and tools. The initial launch consists of nine styling products: Happy Hour Shampoo/Blowout Shampoo, Happy Hour Conditioner/Weightless Conditioner, Hot Toddy Heat Protector & Frizz Fighter, Southern Belle Volumizing Mousse, Cream Soda Smoothing Cream, The Chaser Shine Pomade, 100 Proof Smoothing Oil, Money Maker Flexible Hold Hairspray and Detox Dry Shampoo. Seven styling tools are also available: Buttercup Blow Dryer, The 3-Day Bender Curling Iron with rotating barrel, Smooth Operator Flat Iron, Lemon Drop Wet Brush, Full and Half Pint Round Brushes, Hold Me Hair Clips and The Morning After Shower Cap.
