kids; I'm off to the gym by 8:30 and
into the office around 10. I then meet
with my marketing team and director of
operations, and we go over new product
development, marketing and sales.
Tell us about your recent
ICMAD City Awards win at
Cosmoprof 2017.
We submitted in the marketing/advertising
category for Innovative Product Launch
for our GrandeLIPS NUDE Collection. I
am very thankful to my marketing team
that have created amazing assets to help
launch this, and it has been very well
received by salon, spa and prestige mar-
kets in the beauty industry with social
and print campaigns.
Who (or what) inspires you
to create?
I do look at other brands and am always
testing products. I travel to trade shows,
such as Cosmoprof, In-Cosmetics, MakeUp
in New York and MakeUp in L.A. I work
closely with manufacturers all over the
world to create new products that are
innovative—typically products that enhance
natural beauty and cosmetics that have
function and benefits.
What advice can you offer
other aspiring entrepreneurs?
My advice would be to understand what
your vision is. [Make sure] that you are
confident and that you love that product—
[and are willing to] put everything in your
heart and finances into it. If you believe
in it and it fills a void in the market, you
should be successful and push forward.
