Sums in the millions of dollars are not unusual. And if you think they are only applicable to large, multi-billion corporations, you're greatly mistaken. Even small, single-location stores are subject to compliance with federal laws. However, most of these types of businesses do not have a dedicated human resources compliance officer—probably like your store.
