What is a typical day like for you?
From the moment my feet hit the ground,
I'm working—sales, training, tanning
and then I'm either at softball games
or sitting on my couch with my amazing
boyfriend doing absolutely nothing.
Who inspires you?
My biggest inspiration comes from my
two daughters. They're my reason, my
why, my everything. My goal in life is to
show them that they can do whatever
they put their minds to. I was 16 years
old when I had my first daughter. I was
told that my life was over. Little did I
know that it just began.
What are three things you have
with you at all times?
Lip gloss, cell phone and, my laptop.
How does social media influence
your company?
Social media is the future. It has become
the newest way of advertising. I have
built my personal social media following
as an influencer in the beauty industry,
through word of mouth and working with
celebrities. That following has grown
tremendously in the last few years. Hav-
ing a large following has helped me with
my business, as I am able to direct my
own followers to my company's pages.
What is a piece of advice you can
offer to entrepreneurs looking to
start their own business?
My one piece of advice I'd give to any-
one starting out is always know your
books. That can eventually be delegated,
but always, always know your books! â–
