HEAT PROTECTOR NEW STYLING CRÈME NPEE 2015 EXPECTS TO SEE RECORD NUMBER OF ATTENDEES & EXHIBITORS Natural Products Expo East 2015—the East Coast's largest natural, organic and healthy products event—is poised to hit record numbers with more than 22,000 attendees and 1,800-plus exhibitors. About 30% of those are exhibiting for the first time—and the trade show includes many beauty suppliers. Produced by New Hope Natural Media, NPEE will take place Sept. 16-19 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore. "The city of Baltimore has always felt like home to Expo East, providing a true community to our event with its flourishing food, art and culture scenes, a more robust Inner Harbor and downtown, an expanded BWI Airport and more new hotels," says Adam Andersen, managing director for Natural Products Expos. "This year Natural Products Expo East has the opportunity to again make a positive impact, and we look forward to our time in Charm City this September." In 2014, NPEE ranked in the Top 5 Baltimore-based conventions for economic impact and brought more than $17.4 million to the city. Each year NPEE draws top retail buyers from independent stores (including beauty stores), natural-market chains and big-box retailers all with the mission to find the newest and hottest products shaping the future of the healthy living marketplace in one place. New to this year's show is the "Farm-to-Market Tour," where attendees will visit some of Baltimore's nearby farms and the stores that source from them. Additionally, the Super Pass will be introduced as an "all access" pass available to attendees and exhibitors. It includes networking events, exhibit-hall admission and paid educational sessions. NEW NATURAL TRADE SHOW TO LAUNCH The Healthy & Natural Show, a trade event for retailers and suppliers that will include personal care, is set to debut May 6-7 at Chicago's Navy Pier. Education is being planned for May 5. Additionally, the event will cover food, beverage, dietary supplements, and pet and household products. "We're extremely excited to launch this event in Chicago and the Midwest," says Len Monheit, general manager, North America, for William Reed Business Media. "We intend to make it the show- case for healthy products across many consumer categories for the United States and across the Americas."
