In ancient Greece, the word "kallista" meant "most beautiful"; so it's fitting that co-founders
George Frantzis, managing director, and Linda Gillette Parodi, director of sales and education, are
on a mission to take care of those who make others more beautiful. KALLISTA, based in Geneva,
Switzerland, is launching in January with two hand creams that are designed for beauty professionals who experience rough, dry, chapped hands thanks to days spent working with water,
chemicals and drying gloves. And, according to early testing in the industry, these innovations
are long overdue. "We're addressing a need that has never been addressed before," explains
Frantzis. "We have a specific mission: to look after salon professionals, understanding their
issues and creating products that are new and groundbreaking, and meet their specific needs."
